Five Ways to Comfy Up

Your Christmas

Christmas is coming, along with a few guests, a mountain of food, and let’s be honest, a fair bit of extra pressure.

The good news is that renting can help make Christmas more comfortable and cruisy for everyone. Here are five ways you can make life easier for yourself by renting.

1. Stay Cool, With A Fridge Or Freezer

The flipside of a summery Christmas is that the warmer weather makes it harder to keep extra food and leftovers fresh. Popping a rented fridge and/or freezer into your garage, home office, or spare room for the silly season will spare you the hassle of daily fridge reorganisation, or having to shop little and often due to space restrictions.

2: Create More Places To Sit, Sleep, And Lounge

There’s no need to eat your Christmas lunch off your lap. If you want to sit everyone around a table, get a bigger table, along with some extra dinning chairs. Renting these items for just the time you need them is cost-effective and convenient. You could also rent extra beds and even a couch. The trick is to get what you need, for the timeframe you need it so that you and your guests can really relax and enjoy your time together.

3: Increase Your Entertainment Options

Remember that Christmas where everyone got along swimmingly and never a cross word was spoken? No? Well, why not make this one your first. An extra TV will mean that everyone gets to watch what they want (and gets a bit of time-out in the process). A gaming console will take the focus off any disagreement and lighten the mood as well as keeping the little ones entertained!

4. Keep Those Endorphins Flowing

There’s nothing like exercise to hit the reset button when you’re feeling a little frazzled. Why not rent yourself a treadmill, rowing machine, or exercise bike for the duration of the holidays. That way, when you’re feeling a bit deflated, you can sweat it out for 30 minutes and re-emerged relaxed, reenergised, and ready to laugh convincingly at bad cracker jokes.

5. Make Laundry A Breeze

If you have guests staying for more than a day or two, you might like to consider renting a dryer to take the pressure off your washing line. Not only will you spare your guests the embarrassment of hanging their smalls on someone else’s line, you’ll make laundering all that extra linen easy peesey.

So there you have it. Renting could be just the gift you need to enjoy this Christmas on your own terms. Check out our range below.
